Happy 69th Birthday In Heaven Mama

Happy Birthday in Heaven Mama.

I miss you more than anything.
Looking back on your life I see you were 19 years old when you gave birth to your first baby
boy, my brother.

When you were 22 years old you gave birth to me.

When you were 29 you gave birth to your baby girl, my sister.

When you were 20 years old you and Daddy built our house- that is still in family today.

The road being named after our Uncle on your Mother's side. Great Grandma's brother.

Your love for family, legacy and heritage is a trait you handed down from your elders that I'm happy to carry on for all your Grandbabies and family.

I Love and think of you every moment of everyday.

Always,
-Your Middle Girl

Happy 15th Birthday Son, Alexander

My Dearest Son Alex,
I'm so thankful God blessed me with the most handsome Son- with such a compassionate heart.
You were such a beautiful surprise to me 13 years after your brother was born.

There is not a moment in a day that goes by that I'm not thinking about you and missing you.

I know you're growing up and I'm just going to have to accept that, but honey, You'll always be my Giant Baby Son.

I wish you only the very best
and I'll always be here for you and to encourage you along the way.

You've made me one Proud Mom.

I Love you, Son.

My Son Dustin's Apple Ipod

This July 04.2013 I found the strength to get your  Apple Ipod out to see the almost 3000 songs you had downloaded.

On many occasions I've tried to listen to the songs and all you'd purchased because I know you had a love for music as I do that has been handed down from generations from my Mother and Father on to you and you loved to play music. Throwing down on the Double Bass Drums and Chello. Music is something I always encouraged you to do because as a little girl and through-out my life I've found so much healing in the power of music.

Teaching you that music is a universal language taught you that you had the ability to get along with anyone from all cultures and you absolutely appreciated learning and growing in those areas in life.

It always amazed me and our neighbors through-out the USA  just how loud we played our music. I think about that often- of just how loud we listened to it. The JVC you bought with the tiny speakers that put out what sounded like a full on concert. The times we rode around jamming to Cd's of our Family Friends in your Tahoe,SUV, Malibu, Pontiac Lemans, Benz and Dodge Truck rolling through the streets of Memphis and Denver was a memory I'll treasure forever. Remembering that big smile of yours.

It was awesome that you loved all genres of music and you can tell that by looking at all these songs you purchased from itunes. I know Rhythm and Blues was your favorite as you wrote on your Myspace that "R&B and the rest" was your favorite.

In 2006 you bought a little gadget to listen to your Ipod so Alex and I could hear the songs also. I thought that is was one of the coolest gadgets you had bought and considering we started out on Napster way back when, this was really sweet.

During the transition of moving and all that was going on with people in and out of your house I didn't have any idea what happened to that speaker deal that you used to listen to your Ipod.

I'd been thinking about getting your Ipod out of it's safe place put up and listening to the songs and other things you have on it and had the thing (Belkin) you used in your truck to listen to it but had no idea how it worked.

So, the other day, I was thrift store shopping and seen this gadget and had to get it and start to listen to those almost 3000 songs. A little touch of heaven from my sweet angel Son. I only gave $2.50 for it and the guy found an adapter for it and it works like magic.

It is apart of you. Apart of you that only a Mother could truly appreciate. It is those little things that mean so very much to me and are priceless.

With tears and happiness in my heart I feel very grateful to be able to finally have the courage to do this.

I Love You, Son.

-Your Mom

I admire these ladies and am so grateful they helped raise me into the woman I am today. Their job at the Police Department was a very high intense stressful job, but these ladies handled it with so much integrity and grace. Not pictured is My Aunt Pauline Baliey that owned and operated Moderen Cleaners off Governors Dr. for over 38 years, she also worked at Huntsville Police Department for a time and always kept their uniforms cleaned. I'm happy to say she is doing well and as business minded as ever but she really misses working. When Things get to big for me in this world these ladies are my reference guide. A true long line of strong loyal women. that gave back to this community here in Huntsville, Alabama.

Dustin My Son/Birthdays

Dustin Parker 8 years old Huntsville ,Alabama

My thoughts are with my baby Dustin, My Son, My heart today on my birthday.  He was so special to me and others on our birthdays and always made everyone's birthday so very special. He was so humble and never really expected people to do for him like he done for others. It always amazed me at my sons gracious heart. I love and miss him so much. I'd give anything if he was here with me right now to share life with. Just really really miss my baby. I love you Dustin...Nobody can truly know just how much I long for you each and every moment of every second of everyday.

You were so very special and I've not ever met anyone with your passionate and loyal heart. You still are the most genuine person I've ever had in my life and I'm so very grateful for the gift God gave us...

Even though your in the Heavens, My heart still beats a perfect rhythm for you. Although, It skips a beat for you when I think of your beautiful, Mind and Heart it becomes perfect Harmony again.
